Paramount Home Solutions is a licensed window company based in Schwenksville, Montgomery County. We replace and install windows on homes across southeastern Pennsylvania, from single openings to whole-house projects. The people who measure your openings are the same people who install them, so nothing gets handed to a subcontractor you never met. Windows are one of the few exterior upgrades you notice every day from the inside, and most homeowners only do it once. That is worth getting right the first time.

Style is not only a matter of taste. It decides how much of the opening actually opens, how the window is cleaned, and whether the room meets code as a bedroom. Here are the styles we install most often across Pennsylvania.

Both sashes slide, so you can open the top, the bottom or both. The sashes also tilt inward, which means you clean the outside of a second-floor window from inside the room. This is the most common style on homes in our service area, and the easiest swap in a double-hung window replacement.

Hinged on one side and opened with a crank, so the entire opening clears rather than half of it. That makes casement windows the strongest choice for ventilation, and a good fit above a kitchen sink or anywhere a sash would be awkward to reach. They also seal tightly against the frame when closed.

Three sections, with a large fixed pane in the center and two angled panes on either side. A bay window projects out from the wall, adds floor space to the room, and creates a place for a seat or a shelf. Bay window installation is more involved than a flat swap and usually pays back in resale value.

An egress window is a code requirement rather than a style choice. If you are finishing a basement and any part of it will be used as a bedroom, Pennsylvania code requires an opening large enough for an occupant to climb out and a firefighter to climb in. That means both a window that meets the minimum clear opening and an opening in the wall sized to take it.
We also work with other window styles, including awning, sliding, picture, bow and single-hung units. Ask during your estimate and we will tell you what is available for your openings.
Two decisions drive most of what a window costs and how it performs: what the frame is made of and what sits between the panes.

Vinyl windows are what we install on the large majority of projects here. Vinyl never needs painting, does not rot, and holds its shape through the freeze and thaw cycles that split and warp wood frames in this climate. Vinyl replacement windows come in a range of exterior colors and interior finishes, so matching your existing trim is rarely a problem.

On the glass side, double-pane windows are the baseline. Two panes with an insulating gas fill between them and a low-emissivity coating on the interior surface cut heat transfer in both directions, holding warmth in through winter and reflecting solar gain in summer. A double-pane window replacement is usually the single biggest comfort change homeowners notice, more than the frame or the style.
We size and order every unit to the measurements of your openings rather than fitting a stock size and trimming around the gap.

Pocket installation, sometimes called an insert, sets a new window inside the existing frame. The old sashes come out; the frame and exterior trim stay. It is faster, costs less, and works well when the existing frame and sill are sound. The trade-off is a slightly smaller glass area, since the new unit sits inside the old opening.

Full-frame replacement removes everything down to the rough opening: frame, trim, and all. That is the right call when there is rot in the sill, when the opening is changing size, or when you want the insulation and flashing around the window redone properly. It costs more and it solves problems a pocket install would simply cover up.
We tell you which one your openings need during the estimate, with photographs of what we found.
Window pricing is quoted per opening, and the spread is wide because four things move it: the size of the opening, the style, the frame material and the glass package. A large bay or a custom shape costs several times what a standard double-hung does.
It is worth knowing what the upgrade buys back. Windows account for roughly a quarter of the average household’s heating and cooling load, so the difference between single pane and an insulated double pane unit shows up on the utility bill every month for the next twenty years.
Window replacement is priced per opening and often quoted on the spot, which makes the contractor harder to evaluate than the product. Licensing, crew arrangement and warranty terms are the three points worth confirming before you sign.

A project manager measures every opening, checks the condition of frames and sills, shows you samples against your existing trim and leaves written pricing the same visit.

Your windows are manufactured to the measurements of your openings, not cut from stock sizes. We give you a firm install date when the order is confirmed.

Crews protect the interior, set and level each unit, insulate and seal, then trim it out. Your old windows leave with us, and the site is cleaned before anyone goes home.

Paramount Home Solutions has been amazing from start to finish. We first had a new roof installed earlier and it looks amazing. Then we completed the house with new siding, caped windows and doors. Couldn’t be happier with the results. Both of my project managers were awesome! Great experience. Would recommend them to anyone.
My second service through Paramount. Excellent service. Installers very professional and courteous. Site manager attentive and professional. Will use Paramount again.
After seeing their quality work from previous neighbors, what truly sold me other than their competitive pricing, was their honorable gesture in replacing the roof on my VFWs Veterans Shelter in Red Hill. Matt and Lando were great and assured me all my concerns would be addressed. The crew arrived on time and despite the first 90° day this year, they tackled the roof with precision. I expected the job to take days but they surprisingly finished a 3000sqft roof in one solid full day. I commend the crew and their hard work ethic. The cleanup was very detail oriented to the point where it was like they werent even here. Thank you Gentlemen!
Our office is in Schwenksville, and most of southeastern Pennsylvania is a short drive from it. Homeowners searching for window installers near them usually want someone who will come out and measure this week rather than a national call center that books an appointment three weeks out.
Montgomery County: Souderton, Lansdale, Schwenksville, King of Prussia, Pottstown, Harleysville and surrounding townships.
Bucks County: Doylestown, Southampton, Warminster, Quakertown and Perkasie.
Chester County: Chester Springs, West Chester, Phoenixville and Downingtown.
Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley: Philadelphia rowhomes and twins have opening sizes that rarely match anything off a shelf, which is why every unit we install is made to measure. To the north we serve Allentown and the surrounding Lehigh Valley.
Paramount Home Solutions also serves New Jersey and Delaware from offices in Glendora and Spring Lake.
Ask for the contractor license number, confirm liability and workers’ compensation coverage, and find out whether the installers are employees or subcontractors. Then ask what frame material and glass package the quote assumes. Two similar prices often cover very different windows.
Pricing is per opening and depends on size, style, frame material and glass package. A standard double-hung sits at the low end and a bay or custom shape at the high end. Our free in-home estimate gives you written pricing per window.
Most windows are worth inspecting around the twenty year mark. Fogging between the panes, sashes that stick, visible rot in the sill or a draft you can feel with your hand are the signs that replacement makes more sense than waiting.
Any basement room used for sleeping needs an egress opening large enough to climb out of and for a firefighter to enter through. It comes up most often when finishing a basement, or when a sale exposes a bedroom that was never permitted. We can tell you during the estimate whether your opening qualifies.
Pocket installation sets a new unit inside your existing frame, which is faster and cheaper when the frame is sound. Full-frame removes the frame and trim entirely, which is necessary with rot, a size change, or when the insulation around the opening needs redoing.
It depends on the room. Double-hung suits bedrooms and living rooms and cleans from inside. Casement opens the full area and ventilates best. Bay adds space and light to a main room. We walk the house with you before recommending anything.
Yes, and the difference is noticeable rather than theoretical. Two panes with an insulating gas fill and a low-E coating cut heat transfer in both directions. Windows carry about a quarter of a home’s heating and cooling load, so the savings compound every season.
Yes. Removal and disposal are included. Your old windows leave with our crew, and the interior and exterior are cleaned before we finish for the day.
